Oecusse is separated from the main part of Timor-Leste and surrounded on the land side by Indonesian territory. Because it has a coast it is not an enclave surrounded on all sides.

Spanish Llívia is an enclave within French territory. It is a different place name from the sovereign North African state of Libya, with a different spelling and origin, and the two are told apart by context.

Lesotho's whole territory is surrounded by South Africa. Eswatini is landlocked but borders Mozambique as well as South Africa.

San Marino is a landlocked country entirely surrounded by Italy. Vatican City meets the same conditions but is not among the options, and the requirement of a republic settles it on San Marino in any case.

Andorra lies in the Pyrenees between France and Spain and borders only those two. Portugal is on the Iberian Peninsula but does not border Andorra.

Point Roberts is American territory at the tip of a peninsula jutting south of the 49th parallel, so the road route runs through Canada. By sea it can be reached directly from the United States.

The Northwest Angle is Minnesota territory north of Lake of the Woods, and entering it by road from the rest of the United States means passing through Canada. It is not an exclave created by the Great Lakes.

Ceuta and Melilla are Spanish cities in North Africa with land borders with Morocco. Gibraltar is a British overseas territory on the Iberian side.
