Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Quiz | Season 2 Episodes 25–29: Hidden Inventory and Premature Death

Utahime Iori and Mei Mei investigate the mansion. They recognize a barrier that traps them inside, and the building collapses immediately afterward. Gojo and Geto become the central figures of the arc, but they are not the pair that first enters and investigates the mansion.

In 2006, Gojo, Geto, and Ieiri are second-year students at the Tokyo school. Gojo uses Limitless, Geto absorbs and controls surrendered curses through Cursed Spirit Manipulation, and Ieiri is one of the rare users of Reverse Cursed Technique. They are classmates, but their abilities differ.

Gojo and Geto are instructed to protect and eliminate the Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai. They must defend her from her enemies while delivering her for assimilation with Tengen, giving the mission its unusual pair of apparently contradictory terms. Joining Q and attending the Goodwill Event are not parts of the assignment.

Riko is targeted by the curse user group Q and the Time Vessel Association, a religious organization based on the Star Religious Group. The Tokyo school sends Gojo and Geto to protect her. The Goodwill Event and the later appearances of Geto's faction and the Death Paintings do not define these two forces.

Because the enemy may attempt a hostage exchange, Gojo considers returning to Jujutsu High first. Riko insists on going to the exchange for Kuroi, so Gojo, Geto, and Riko head to the designated location. Riko's choice changes the group's course.

Riko is the Star Plasma Vessel destined to assimilate once every 500 years with Tengen, who possesses an immortality technique, for the survival of jujutsu society. Kuroi is the servant who has cared for Riko since her parents died, and the two are like family. This bond helps explain Riko's decision to attempt the rescue despite the danger.

Shiu Kong is a former detective and broker who recruits Toji Fushiguro for the assassination of Riko Amanai. Toji is known as the Sorcerer Killer and serves as the hired operative. Shiu does not protect Riko, and Toji does not become her caretaker.

Toji tells the stunned Geto that he killed Gojo. As the user of Cursed Spirit Manipulation, Geto summons curses and attacks Toji. Toji's statement about Gojo, rather than a rescue report or news of completed assimilation, triggers their confrontation.

By August 2007, Gojo has become the strongest and can complete every mission alone. Geto has more occasions to be alone and continues the cycle of exorcising and absorbing curses. The separation of their assignments as Gojo grows stronger coincides with the widening psychological distance between them.

Hidden Inventory and Premature Death traces the point at which Gojo and Geto, once classmates standing side by side, take separate paths. Gojo becomes the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, while Geto becomes the worst curse user. The arc's conclusion is about this irreparable division, not simply a ranking of their power.
