Yuji and Megumi overcome Awasaka's technique and lift the curtain that excludes sorcerers. Nanami, meanwhile, seeks Ijichi to complete a request that only a Grade 1 sorcerer can make and finds him stabbed and collapsed. These events occur at separate locations.

Kento Nanami defeats Shigemo and rescues Nobara and Nitta. Nanami then joins Maki and Naobito and tells them that Gojo has been sealed. Ino has already been injured in the separate battle over the curtain's source, so he is not their rescuer.

Choso, Eso, and Kechizu share a powerful bond as Cursed Womb: Death Painting brothers. Because Yuji and Nobara defeated Eso and Kechizu, Choso pursues Yuji for revenge and asks about his brothers' final words. His attack is not retaliation for Gojo's sealing.

Mei Mei and Ui Ui confront a Special Grade Disease Curse summoned by the person using Geto's body. After defeating Shigemo, Nanami joins Maki and Naobito and encounters Dagon in a Shibuya Station passage. Reversing the two opponents produces the wrong matchup.

Dagon expands Horizon of the Captivating Skandha. Self-Embodiment of Perfection belongs to Mahito, Coffin of the Iron Mountain to Jogo, and Malevolent Shrine to Sukuna, so crossing the users and domain names makes the other pairings incorrect.

Megumi first enters the domain and creates a possible route out for Nanami's group. The rampaging Toji then intrudes and attacks Dagon in pursuit of the strongest opponent. The interventions are sequential—Megumi followed by Toji—not simultaneous.

Mimiko, Nanako, and Jogo make the unconscious Yuji consume Sukuna's fingers, allowing Sukuna to take temporary control of his body. Yuji does not willingly surrender control; it happens while he is unconscious after his defeat.

Sukuna ignores Jogo's advice and overwhelms the Special Grade curse. At the same time, Megumi struggles against the rampaging Toji without recognizing him as his father. Both battles feature an overwhelmingly powerful fighter, but the participants and relationships differ.

Megumi and Toji are father and son, but Megumi does not recognize the man before him as his father. Toji is also rampaging in pursuit of strong opponents, so the battle is not a conversation in which they acknowledge their family history.

Badly injured from his fight with Toji, Megumi is pushed near death by Shigemo's ambush. He includes Shigemo in an exorcism ritual and summons Mahoraga. Sukuna intervenes and defeats Mahoraga with his domain; Megumi does not complete the subjugation himself, and many civilians are caught in the resulting destruction.
