Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Quiz | Season 2 Episodes 30–35: Shibuya Incident and Gojo's Sealing

Yuji plans to see a movie, Nobara goes shopping, and Megumi rides home alone in Ijichi's car while remarking on the other two's energy. This calm day is separate in both time and circumstances from the large-scale battle beginning on October 31 in Episode 32.

Mechamaru's true identity is the human Kokichi Muta. His Heavenly Restriction trades his body for enormous technique range and cursed-energy output, and he cooperates with the curses to obtain a body that can move. He is neither a cursed corpse like Panda nor one of Mahito's transfigured humans.

Kokichi pilots the secretly prepared Ultimate Mechamaru: Mode Absolute and directs at Mahito the cursed energy accumulated throughout the years his body was restricted. His strategic objective is to escape and report the curses' plan to Gojo, not to attack the Kyoto school or seal Yuji.

The curtain falls at 7:00 p.m. on October 31, 2018, trapping large numbers of civilians and cutting off phone signals. December 24 is the date of the Night Parade in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and must be distinguished from the Shibuya Incident.

To minimize casualties, Gojo enters the underground platform at Shibuya Station alone and faces Jogo, Hanami, and Choso. Yuji, who has been traveling with Mei Mei, encounters the human-speaking curse Ko-Guy at Meiji-Jingumae Station. The two occupy different locations and face different enemies.

Jogo's group use civilians to restrict Gojo's actions and buy enough time to activate the Prison Realm and seal him. Their plan seeks to remove the strongest sorcerer from the field through confinement rather than defeat him only through greater combat power.

Mahito enters the underground platform with a large number of transfigured humans. Mixing civilians and transfigured humans increases the burden on Gojo as part of the enemy strategy; Mahito does not arrive as reinforcement for the sorcerers.

The ear-covering Mini Mechamaru tells Yuji that Gojo has been sealed. After accepting its explanation, Yuji's group spreads the news to all sorcerers and begins working to recover Gojo. They change their operation through broad communication rather than conceal the event and wait.

The three infer that placing the source in a conspicuous location outside the barrier accepts greater risk in exchange for a stronger curtain. They therefore look upward rather than underground and head toward the highly visible Cerulean Tower.

At the source of the curtain, Yuji and Megumi begin fighting Jiro Awasaka, while Ino faces Ogami and her grandson. The team divides across two confrontations rather than concentrating all three members against one enemy.
