Yajirobe rescued the fallen Goku, carried him on his back, and climbed Karin Tower to deliver him to Karin. The Super Water of the Gods draws out a person's latent power, but it is also a potent poison that can kill the drinker. Goku concentrated his remaining strength into his only usable arm and drove a final blow through King Piccolo's body. He did not recover with more Super Water or use the Mafu-ba. Before dying, the Demon King expelled an egg containing his successor, connecting this victory to the next threat.
