One Piece Anime Quiz | Episodes 51–60: Escape from Loguetown, Apis and the Millennium Dragon, and Lost Island

The prize is the Elephant Tuna, a rare fish also known as the jewel of the sea. Carmen challenges Sanji in pursuit of the title of the East Blue's best cook, but Sanji's immediate reason for entering is to obtain the fish. The contest does not offer a route to the All Blue.

Smoker sees a parallel in more than the location. Like Roger on the same execution platform, Luffy faces apparent death without panic and smiles. Smoker is not reacting to a victorious smile after Luffy escapes or to any statement about the treasure's location.

The five reaffirm their respective dreams of becoming Pirate King, the world's greatest swordsman, drawing a world map, becoming a brave warrior of the sea, and finding the All Blue. This is not a meeting about positions or profit sharing; it is a ceremony that renews their shared commitment before the Grand Line.

The encounter is not a planned rescue. Luffy reaches toward the flock expecting food and catches Apis by accident. Although Apis is initially frightened by the pirates, she comes to trust them, and the crew changes course to take her home to Warship Island.

The crew uses the force of a Sea King's sneeze as propulsion out of the windless, currentless waters. A creature that is normally an overwhelming threat becomes the means of escape. Ordinary sails or a nonexistent engine would not solve the Calm Belt's lack of wind.

While the land group carries Grandpa Ryu down the mountain on the cart, Usopp and Zoro recover the Going Merry from Marine control and move it to the cape. The plan solves two separate problems in sequence: moving the immobile dragon over land and then securing transport by sea.

Eric's objective is neither the Going Merry nor its sailing techniques, but the dragon bones believed to grant immortality. Rather than attack before the destination is known, he expects the crew transporting a dragon home to lead him to the object he wants. His pursuit is not an act of protection.

The ruined island is not the final destination. After seeing the mural, Grandpa Ryu remembers that the dragons' nest is at Warship Island, forcing the group to revise its route. Instead of clinging to the first theory, the crew follows evidence that points back to where the journey began.

The formation does not consist of one ship wrapping a chain directly around the Going Merry. Several Marine ships link themselves together to create an encircling barrier. The chains block the gaps between the ships while the fleet attacks from outside the ring.

The Millennium Dragons answer Grandpa Ryu's call as he summons the last of his strength. Apis can understand the voices of animals, but she does not command every dragon in the world to gather in this scene. Grandpa Ryu's own roar is the direct signal.
