Once Wyper realizes cannonballs are ineffective, he switches to the Burn Bazooka, which fires pale-blue flames powerful enough to pierce a large tree. Luffy neither steals it nor keeps evading; he answers head-on with Gum-Gum Bazooka. The clash follows Wyper's adjustment to Luffy's resistance.

Gedatsu's Swamp Cloud is dangerous because anyone who touches it cannot get free. Chopper uses a Rumble Ball and changes form as he tries to evade it, but Gedatsu's Jet Punch lands. The Rumble Ball does not erase the cloud; it supports Chopper's attempt to escape.

Nami first produces mist with the Clima-Tact to obscure Hotori's vision, creating the opening for the finishing Impact. The mist is preparation rather than the decisive blow. Hotori and Kotori have come as Satori's triplet brothers seeking revenge, not as potential allies.

Robin defeats Yama by sending him into the ravine with Cien Fleur: Delphinium. Continuing the search herself, she reaches the ruins of the golden city of Shandora beneath the clouds. The 800-year figure marks the city's sudden disappearance, and no map is taken from Yama.

The man in the upper ruins is the priest Ohm, who weeps over the frailty of human beings. The area is the Ordeal of Iron, said to have a zero percent survival rate. It is distinct from Gedatsu's Ordeal of Swamp, which Chopper faced before climbing Giant Jack.

Zoro finds Chopper after Ohm has defeated him. As Zoro rushes to his crewmate, Ohm's trap also attacks him, and the sight of his fallen friend intensifies his anger. Chopper does not remain an active participant and defeat Ohm in this four-way struggle.

Zoro, Wyper, Ohm, and the others continue fighting inside the dome, surrounded by White Thorns that are dangerous to touch. In the separate setting of the giant snake's belly, Nami's group unexpectedly reunites with Luffy. Luffy has not joined Zoro's White Thorn battlefield at this point.

Zoro releases Three-Sword Style: 108 Pound Phoenix, blows away the shape-changing Iron Cloud, and defeats Ohm. Its name resembles the One-Sword Style: Thirty-Six Pound Phoenix first used against Braham, but this finishing move is the three-sword 108 Pound Phoenix. Neither Seastone nor a Reject Dial decides this fight.

Enel's lightning directly causes the upper ruins to collapse and fall. Nami's group escapes from the giant snake, but Luffy and Aisa remain trapped inside its belly. They are separated from the fighters converging on Shandora rather than facing Enel there at this stage.

Wyper has Seastone built into his Shooter. Contact with it suppresses the Devil Fruit user's power, after which Wyper releases Reject. Seastone performs the suppression and Reject delivers the attack, so their functions and order are distinct. Gan Fall has already been defeated by Enel's lightning.
